Man Blitz Setups

The man blitz setups will force your opponents to make perfect reads in a split second, which is something people haven’t had to do very much in Madden 22. These setups are a bit more advanced because they require lot of pre-snap adjustments and good user skill.

Coaching Adjustments

• Option Defense: Conservative

• Everything else: Default

Setup

• Pinch the defense

• Blitz all linebackers

• Bring the single-high safety down (this is your user) and stand near the o-line

• Shade inside and overtop

• Slant the d-line outside

• Pass commit

Situational Adjustments

• QB contain (vs mobile QBs)

• Put an outside DE in man coverage on the RB if he will be difficult to cover with your user (if the RB stays in to block then the DE will blitz)

Post-Snap

• Cover any receiving threats over the short middle

This is the SAME SETUP as the six-man blitz, except this time your are also blitzing the slot CB. This brings a great deal of pressure, but it also means there is one less person in coverage, so make sure you either user the WR who the slot CB was previously manned up on, or put all of your non-blitzers in deep zones to protect against the deep ball.

Setup 1

• Same setup as the Six Man Blitz, but also blitz the slot CB

• User one of the unguarded receiving threats

Setup 2

• Put all three defenders in deep zones, user over the middle of the field
