Curl Flat
Curl Flat is one of the most versatile plays in Pistol Trips. The post route from the inside WR is one of the best man-beating routes in the game, especially with a route running ability like Short In Elite, Route Technician, or Slot-O-Matic. With these setups we want to build around the post route to create route combos that can beat both man and zone coverage.
Setup 1 (Zone Beater)
Put the TE on a drag
Put the HB on a swing route
Put the middle WR on a flat route
Put the outside WR on a streak
Setup 2 (Zone Beater)
Put the TE on a drag
Put the HB on a curl route
Put the middle WR on a flat route
Put the outside WR on a streak
Setup 3 (Man & Zone Beater)
Motion the TE out, put him on a slant, and motion him back in
Put the HB on a swing route
Put the middle WR on a flat route
Put the outside WR on a streak
Setup 4 (Man & Zone Beater)
Put the TE on a crosser (requires HRM or TE Apprentice)
Put the HB on a swing route
Put the middle WR on a flat route
Put the outside WR on a streak
Setup 5 (Man & Zone Beater)
Motion the TE out, put him on a slant, and motion him back in
Put the middle WR on a flat route
