INSIDE SMASH

Inside Smash has an awesome corner route from the inside receiver that we can use to build flood concepts on the trips side of the field, similar to how we do on the play Smash. Because this corner route starts closer in, the route can take longer to get open and therefore requires you to trust your o-line to hold their blocks. However, the benefit of this corner route is that it gets deeper down the field than the corner route in Smash, so this is the play to use if you’re trying to throw over a deep zone drop.
