Spacing switch

Short Yardage Play

If you find yourself in a short-yardage situation, Spacing Switch can be a go-to money play. All five routes on the field are viable options, and it's of course impossible for your opponent to user all of them. This play works best against zone coverage because the spacing of the routes will pull the zones apart, but you can also beat man coverage with the running back out route and by throwing a low-ball bullet pass to any of the three hitches. An important disclaimer is that this play, despite looking simple, is probably the most difficult to run in this ebook. With everything so close together, your opponent can sometimes move easily from covering one route to another. Go into practice mode to get used to making quick reads.
