(Instant Jurdle 2.0)

This move takes the “instant jurdle” setups we’ve already looked at and adds a whole new layer of trickery. When I first made this ebook, I was afraid of instant jurdling to the side of the pitch key, but it turns out I was just jurdling with my left stick at a poor angle. If you’re able to pull your left stick partially back when you perform the “instant jurdle”, then most of the time you can get around the pitch key and quickly get to the outside for huge gains.

NOTE: You MUST have the Fastbreak ability on your QB to perform this move.

Adjustments

• Read the Defense Pre-Snap

  • If the defense is stacking the box against your runs up the middle, use this move to quickly get to the edge

  • If the pitch key is a slot CB instead of a DE, then you almost always want to perform the instant jurdle to the pitch key side

  • (Optional) Come out of the huddle with your WRs always to the wide side of the field so you can have more space to work with on the instant jurdle side

  • (Optional) Motion over a WR to pull defenders inside on the side of the pitch key, giving you more space on the outside

• To perform the instant jurdle left/right, hold the left stick down and to the left/right before the snap. After the snap, press the sprint button and hurdle button while still holding the left stick down and to the right.

  NOTE: If you just hold the left stick straight to the left/right, you might jurdle straight into the pitch key, so make sure you’re holding it down and to the right
